yeah but flash ROMs were expensive back then too (8mbit was considered huge), most of the price was just for the hardware. Plus the manuals back then were far better than what you get now, and in full color. Now you pay for a 10 cent disk (or a download), a cheap flimsy black and white manual (that doesn't even cover how to play the game) and shitty cover art with pre-rendered shots on the back and an endorsement from the most popular gaming rag they could buy off. :)

Depends on the size. Most of the 4mbit games were 49 or so, the bigger 8mbit, and 16-32mbit went up in price. I remember Street Fighter II Turbo was like 69.99 new, some of the RPGs were as well.
