1996 Ford F800 Crew Cab Box Truck Restoration Thread

Why do it? Why post it here? Well, for starters, I wasn't really able to find any box truck restorations online. This one, I think, is cool enough to warrant the documentation.

Who am I? I am the prodigal son, returning from Egypt with his foreskin intact. I am a very old forum member, who has been away for 4 or 5 years, but I never forgot about you guys. I'm sure some of you would remember me. I was pretty good friends with the guy who had the Full Metal Jacket avatar, though I forget his name.

    Let's begin.

    1996 Ford F800
5.9L Cummins 12V (Apparently she has a 5.9L Jasper diesel in there now tho, lol)
    200HP / 450 Torque from the factory
    208k miles
A real Texas slab, hardly any rust to speak of
Leaks oil, leaks brake fluid, has electrical gremlins and takes a long time to turn over when below freezing

With that being said, there is something irresistibly cool about this truck. I love driving it. It makes me feel like a big man. And I feel okay throwing money at it, for whatever God forsaken reason.

I will be back with pics tomorrow. And I will update as I go along. I've already done some work that I will document as I get the chance.
