Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen

Saw this and thought id share, they have released who is going to be in the new movie robot wise:

ok so im stoked to see this movie regardless as the first did not dissapoint. i understand chevrolet is a major funder to get their cars in but seriously why does EVERY car have to be a GM product? if SideSwipe was a Lambo in the cartoon, make him a Lambo in the movie.

stuff like this annoys me. im glad they are making the movies but i mean come on, try and maybe stick with the characters a bit more. maybe on some of the more vague characters make them a chevy/gm but on the obvious ones make them what they were supposed to be. i.e. Iron hide was some sort of van back in the cartoon, fine make him a hummer now no biggie. bumblebee was a vw bug, whats so hard about making him a new vw bug now? im glad optimus is a sicccck peterbilt now, but in the cartoon it was obvious he was a cabover semi.

i dunno. i wonder if there is some reason besides money that they decided to get so far away from the main characters. its not like keeping them closer to original would be harder to animate or anything, its all CGI regardless. not like one shape/car is harder to animate more than another.

I see they are bringing optimus's true 2ed in command into this one Jet fire (was an f14 orginaly I think I still have him in a box around here some where). Yeah I am old and remember the original cartoons form 1985 and the toys I still have a bunch of them.

Hell Jazz was a vette in the original instead they had him as a solstice in the last movie. Wow I really am a geek.

Yes, too many American cars. Especially since the Chevy Volt and the 2010 Camaro actually look quite similar.

At least Audi squeezed it's way in.

No complaints, as long as Omnicron shows up sometime before this franchise gets stale, if possible.

+1 on the "fuckin win Jet fire is in this."

I've always been amazed by the fact that they can do these kind of special effects in movies nowadays. Some of the shit they put into movies just makes you think how the fuck did they film that.

Two things I loved back in the day (late 70's early 80's) were Corvette Stingray's and Porsches. I'm gonna have to trump you on this one..

I want to see your Jazz, because the 1984 toy I had looked like this;)

Jazz is the "very cool, very stylish, very competent" member of the Autobots in the Transformers television and comic series based on the popular toy line produced by Takara and Hasbro. His original vehicle mode is a Martini Porsche 935 Turbo racing car. Self-possessed, calm, and utterly collected, Jazz is head of Special Operations, with his own dedicated roster of agents. He often gives the most dangerous assignments to himself. It's not a matter of ego—he just really is the coolest head for the toughest missions. Jazz's ease extends to whatever environment he finds himself in, no matter how weird or wonderful. He effortlessly tunes in to the local culture, assimilating and improvising, and making creative command decisions, making him an indispensable right-hand bot to Optimus Prime. [1]

Jazz remains one of the more popular and well-remembered characters from the original series. Because of problems with trademarking the name Jazz, some later releases of Jazz are called Autobot Jazz.
