Yep, it's fun. Big, wicked fun.

I forgot my cool shirt this weekend, but thought I'd be fine. When I got out of the car on Saturday after 2 hrs and 10 min, I thought I was going to throw up in my helmet.

Not totally true.

Sure, the premise is you're racing sub-$500 cars, but most people have a ton of time and $$$ invested in their LeMons cars. Besides that, it's a really long race and the last thing you want to do is something stupid that will knock your car out of the race early.


But yeah, it's a shitpotload of fun- I've said it before and I'll say it until it's no longer true, LeMons racing is THE most fun I've had in a car, with or without my clothes on.......


Some of you fookers need to build a LeMons car somewhere and let me fly in and drive with you. I'm easy on equipment and I can fix shit with little or no parts + tools.

a buddy of mine has run in a few of them. He works at Toyota and they have two cars they built with some engineering students - they may have been @ CMP, I think.

Like I said before- the LeMons organizers seem to be getting sick of all the E30's and Miatas that are showing up without much for a theme. We're trying to find a new car that's more "lemony" for the fall race. I'm not really excited about starting over with a new car from scratch, but it's clear that E30's are gonna continue to be harassed.

I see the reasoning, it just sucks for us since we are E30 guys........

We had severe fuel pump/trashy tank issues and pretty much called it a day after Sat.

It was very fast when it ran......i head swap and a 4.10 was all we did.
