Just out of respect to the United States, they could have done it somewhere else.

One of the biggest victories for the Islamic faith is to build mosques on defeated holy or historical sites of their enemy. This is just another example of rubbing it in ones face!

I forget the interview I was watching the other day when someone brought that up, and the answer was to the extent of , yeah but the there is also a 24hour porn store with a jack off theatre at ground zero also. The truth is there is a tremoundous Muslim population in NYC, ever notice how many Halal food carts there in the city? And to make another point the guy that alerted police to the time square "bomber" with the propane tank bomb, the good guy to make the alert was a muslim! The sad thing is that did not get much air play at all.

I will be honest and say no. That just wouldnt look right and most people would not accept it. I would be scared to pray at that mosque to be honest. lol.

Besides your intellectual superior attitude cracks me up, what your smarter than everyone here because you read a couple books. Hell I read a whole bunch too in college and now, does not give me the right to act mentally superior than everyone like you have.

I never said that I am smarter than anyone in here and will not say that I am smarter. People have made negative comments about Islam and I didnt like that. Lets turn the table around and I make a negative thread about Christianity or Judaism. I am sure I will get bombarded with comments and probably get harrased or even have the Feds at my house. lol. All I ask was that you cant judge a religion negative because of individual or a group. There is fuk up ppl in this world and they are gonna make either their religion,race or color look bad. Do you think all BLK ppl are bad???


I just think people should have respect for other peoples religions. If you dont like the religion then keep the negativity to yourself. I am muslim but have dinner with my friends on Christmas ever or easter. I call my buddies and wish them a merry christmas or happy channukah.. I do it out of respect even though I dont agree with their religion. So lets just have respect for one another and everything should be fine..

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I believe the King James, John, Luke etc bible have been altered. Do I respect them, yes I do since they are great books to read.

Now there is also different fractions of muslims... I am a sunni muslim and dont agree with shias, Bhai's, Ismailies, Jafferies, wahabis and few others. Just like I dont agree with Nation of Islam, the Minister Farrakhan who preaches nothing but hate... I am also an American citizen and yes I love this country since we can practice freedom of speech but at the same time, I am not going to be ignorant and disrespect peoples beliefs.

I dont know if you read english very well but I wrote in a previous post that I have more non muslim friends than mulsims.. What does that tell you about me, I like my fellow non muslims.
