Or even the liberal agenda that has been in our school systems since the decline of quality education.

I'm not saying i believe it, I'm saying that it's just as ridiculous as this thread.

It's pretty logical to think that Obama and the Democrats are going to use this spill to their advantage. He already halted all offshore drilling. I can guarantee this is going to be played up in the political realm the same way that 9/11 was.

The "agenda" is real. Our educators are nothing but mouthpieces anymore. There are no longer any passionate fighters left it seems.

I am taking a linguistics course as one of my final electives before I graduate. The other day my professor spent almost the entire class criticizing the immigration bill in Arizona. Her discussion focused only on the ways that Arizona is enforcing very strict English language only policies in schools. While I did tend to agree with her points about language, her whole criticism of the immigration bill was centered on this one issue. She didn't discuss any of the other pieces of the bill and the class just sat there and ate it up.

Your professor dose not know shit about AZ schools then. They have entire schools and staff devoted to ESL (English second language) kids and the are taught in their native Spanish if need be. My mom is a teacher in AZ Tucson to be precise so I think my information is accurate.

what were you taught about our founders

what were you taught about the Civil war and why it happened

What do you know about the amount how integrated the races were before the civil war during the time of the revolution.

We shall start with this stuff 1st

I hate Obama but I can't believe he is happy about this. However, you'd be an idiot not to think that they haven't sat aboard his own personal fly toy (air force one) and discussed how great this can be for his socialist agenda.

not to far off from 9/11, bad news a few thousand people are dead, but hey now we have a good reason to attack Iraq, but Iraq did not do anything, yeah so what? OK, lets go!

Brian once again, attacking Iraq was justified 100% just in the fact that Saddam did break the UN rules time and time again. The result of Saddam breaking such rules cost him his life. Up to the day he was captured he clearly stated that he had such weapons of mass destruction and he in fact used them on his own people in the North.

dont know what you were doing back in 2001, but that is not why we attacked Iraq. "we are fighting the terrorist over there, so we dont have to fight them over here" was the big slogan, however Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. We could not go to Saudi because Bush and his family are close friends and business partners with the Saudi's.

If you are going for humanitarian reasons say that, but dont sell the world on false pretenses. And by the way, no weapons of mass destruction have yet to be found in Iraq.

owned. good job. But still, in 9 years we have found between 500 and lets say 1000 on the high side munitions ranging in size from an RPG to a boat anchor. We went to war for that, in the mean time the country we should have attacked (Iran) is trying to build a nuke. I still think we fought the wrong war.

Ill agree with you there. I think Iraq was a bit of a cluster. But we are there now and MUST make right with the people.

Both my bothers leave out for A-Stan in December. That is a hot spot that is about to ramp up even more. For what? No one can win there. Russia tried it and failed badly. Using military tactics to fight gorilla warfare will never win. War can not be fought on a even playing field. The United States could not stomach what is needed to win.

As far as Iran building a nuke, so what! No ones got the balls to do anything about it. Its going to take a strike by Iran to get that one started.

my point is more if we went to Iran instead of Iraq there is no way their nuclear program would be as far along as it is now. However, if we went to Iran it would have been a much bigger war, which is why I think Bush administration did not go there.
