        they seem like two separate things. One is to just yank the plug in case of cyberattack, the second is a piracy crackdown. And the piracy article didn't name out the cyberattack bill.

        This pulling the plug stuff would be an appropriate precaution to use on defense computers and such in case of total anti-hacking failure, but I don't think they should need a bill for covering their own asses. Even a few select civilian servers, would they need this if it was really a matter of national security? I'd think they'd just run in and do it.

          its not pull the plug, its strong arm the ISP's and telling them to shut it all down. Govt take over of the intenetz. Look what Twitter did in Iran last year, got to have as much control over the communication of the commoners as possible you know.
