    I think you guys are underestimating how many people out there don't give a fuck if you really think we are on a path to civil war. A record breaking presidential vote has like 50% turnout, normally you see numbers closer to 20%.

    The situation between D's and R's is about as polarized as it can be but we are still maintaining a civil course of business. Even cleaning house on all of congress would not create chaos. From the state level on down where everyone runs the daily routine the system works ok, and if that gets shaken up we would be in chaos. Nobody wants that. Hell, some cities have a hard enough time keeping people from shooting eachother as it is.

    If we want to change the government it has to be done to a solid plan with the vast majority on board. A war would yield unpredictable and rushed results, could easily make things worse. If it's all because of rage over the current president then just hold your wad for a couple years. It can be done, I just sat out 8 years with the last guy simultaneous failing at economy, diplomacy, and war(s). I was furious with his performance. But it isn't about just the president. More people need to pay attention to who they are voting for in the senate and congress.
