The military is already spread so damn thin, there's no way we could open up another even bigger front. At least not without a major shakeup of the military that would involve closing a lot of the huge, pointless and worthless bases we keep all over the country and the world and sending the troops from those bases in to actual combat.
Israel won't do shit either. They're surrounded on all sides by half a dozen countries that hate them. They attack Iran, everyone else atacks them, giant war ensues, Israel gets pounded.... They may not like Iran one bit, but they are not stupid. They're not going to launch an attack that would no doubt bring devastation upon themselves. Self preservation is ultimately the goal of every nation/state.Comment

Iran is no different than Syria, Lebanon, or Egypt, The jews bomb the shit outta Syrian suspected nuke sites every few years, the arabs, or Lebanese, bitch and cry and demand retribution and swear revenge. They never do anything. Iran will be no different I doubt.
They dont have the resources and can be crippled economically with just a few air strikes, yes that would push global energy prices way up, but they dont make, build, do anything. They have oil but no refinery capacity they have to import all their distillate fuels, No gas no effective war machine, the Germans are a fine example of that. they have no meas to produce weapons, hardly a means of food production, water can be hard to come by when there is no power to pump it outta deep wells.
But thats how you fight a war to win you cripple your enemy in every way possible, but we dont fight that way anymore. Keep in mind Israel is not the only country in the Middle East that doesn't want to see a nuclear armed Iran.
