Social security retirement benefits. It's my understanding that this isnt control by the States, right?
Actually on the radio this morning I heard that if you are in State that doesn't recognized these unions, you dont get your spouses benefits in case of death (retirement). You'll have to go to another State and file for retirement there to be eligible for the benefits! Hahaha.
Seriously, the DJ who gave this example wasn't sure and frankly this starts to get a bit muddy and can appreciate why someone like the USSC would have to intervene.
Something tells me we haven't heard the last of this.
