I am all for equality and fair treatment so how is it equal or fair for a religion to require woman to hide their faces in public?

Or for that matter Polygamous marriages which are legal in most Islamic countries. There is another religion where Polygamy is allowed... it's called Mormonism.

I am a from moderate family and my mother and sisters dont wear the burqa.. to be honest my sisters are too busy buying Gucci, Prada and all that glamorous stuff.. Everyone in every country should follow the laws of the land.. if you dont like the laws then leave.

In Islam the real reason why they married more on wife was because back in the days when the men went to war and died.. there was alot of single or widowed women left, so it was only good to for a man to marry them and increase the population... nowadays ppl who have a lot of money do it cause they think its ok... But you can only marry more than one wife for a good reason.. Ex.. your wife cant have kids, your wife is ill and dying.

there is more logical reasons but i just dont know all of them to be honest..

I have one wife and thats more than enough... lol
