old news have been saying this for a long time now.

Ol Vlad, China, Hugo, Iamadinnerjacket, and a few other America hating countries have been saying this since 07, and further back than that. Its more saber rattling than anything, (maybe sending a not so subtle message to us that they want to kick our ass) when the world stops trading oil in dollars then you can be worried until then is fear mongering.

China is not gonna dump all its holdings nor is anyone else, en-mass. Why because they are tied to us as much as we are tied to them, if they kill our dollar, then guess what they are not gonna get shit back on all those bonds they hold, it will be worth less. 2 we buy most of their junk, there for, their newly acquired life style will be in deep jeopardy. And if they kill our dollar guess what that makes our manufacturing VERY VERY competitive on the world markets. We will go back to making LOTS OF SHIT HERE AGAIN, and thats not good for china and they know it. We may not make much in the way of consumer goods right now but that does not mean we have forgotten. We can still be a manufacturing power house and still are the number 1 manufacturer in the world and china will take another 15 years to surpass us at the rate they are going. China has purposefully kept its currency undervalued so that they could keep that favorable exchange rate and for trade, they are not about ti give that to us by devaluing our dollar.
