I will be voting for it. I do not agree with the fact that people can grow it on a residential property, I think that will open neighboring houses up for theft that may have not been a problem before, it should only be commercial in my opinion. Other than that, I don't see any problems though so it will get a yes from me.
I really have no idea if it will pass or not, everyone I talk to about it has differing opinions, guess we will see in November.sigpic

By socially conservative, I mean the MADD, religious, and prohibitionist groups that staunchly oppose prop 19.

At first I felt like it will pass, but now I'm 50/50 on the outcome. But I do feel that if it doesn't pass this year, it will later on down the road as the younger (current generation) starts to "outlast" the older generation.
I don't agree about breaking into house though. I don't see how this one bill would cause more theft. Just because it will be legal to grow doesn't mean people will. What are the odds that people break into your house for your plants/stash and they ready? Odds are they'll be useless.
Unless you are saying that your neighbor is growing and your house gets broken into by mistake etc.***Affordable Powder Coating Here:***

if everyone can grow it legally why would anyone want to steal it? there would be no reason to steal weed if you could just plant some for your self right?
i don't like the idea of it going commercial because it will put lot of small farmers out of business.
on the other hand it will make lots of money for california as a cash crop and maybe we can get some of our social and school programs back on track in a few years.
there are a lot of pros and cons.
i also agree that is is not a dem vs. rep issue. i know a lot of very conservative people in california that smoke weed.
many of the people who grow it are conservative.
guess what part of america makes the most money off of weed other then califonia.... appalachia. i think we can designate appalachia as conservative.sigpic

Is California gonna be home of reggae now?
Legalize it!!!! But just as with boozes and cigs, make it legal for over 18 years old.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Oups. I forgot that the drinking age was 21 in the US. But yeah. It would make sense if the law is enforced. Also, the same way that drinking is prohibited while or before driving, the same principle shall be applied with weed. No weed at work either.
Would allowing weed be a moral breach in our society? Perhaps, but much less than alcool. and less damaging than cigarettes. Both being legal and morally accepted.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
