-Asian chick in the background of pic 6 looks kinda good.
-All these statistics either reference India or China Or imply how our goods and manufacturing all went to them. Am I wrong or did this trade deficit thing start with Clinton?

            5% of 1.3 billion is 65 million.

Not that it's good, but whoever is feeding you your facts is incapable of the most basic math.

That said: For most of history, China has had the largest economy in the World. The British devastated the Chinese economy during the colonial period (see opium) and then Maoism destroyed most of the rest. Just think about it this way: When their GDP matches ours, they will still have one quarter our per capita income.

The US has managed to hold on to a certain spark of ingenuity for a while. Unfortunately, we have two problems:

                        1) Celebration of stupidity.
                        2) Education of the competition. What kind of idiot thinks that it's a good idea to invite the brightest people form across the world over here in order to educate them, only to kick them out as soon as they are done? High performance at a good institution ought to come with a green card stapled to the fucking diploma. Why kick them out to compete with us, when we can get them to stay here and employ Americans?

That would be interesting to see. There's no doubt this country has slipped with the way our children are taught (including parenting). But it seems like it's being pushed more than the potential real true.

Something I remember reading in one of my mothers books for Early child hood education. Or something for one of her continuing class work required courses. It was not that long ago either maybe 3-4 years ago and it was a recent book at that time.
