Or maybe it was that some Muslims flew some planes into buildings a few years ago and killed nearly 3,000 people. He's proven that he is ignorant, and grossly uneducated (I'm far from a Constitutional scholar, and I've had to correct him multiple times). This is further proven by his inability to construct a complete, and coherent sentence.

Regarding the dismissal of Williams, I'm not sure it was the right move. He wasn't on NPR at the time. He was a news reporter/analyst for NPR, NOT a commentator. Had he made the comments on his show while reporting, he should have been canned. I would hope that any legitimate news source would have done the same had the comments been said during a report.

People need to be able to differentiate between news reporting and commentary. Each major organization has both. The commentary side is where most of them differ. Is the news reporting on FOX (or FOX Business) right leaning? No, not usually. Are their commentators? Yes. Is NPR's news reporting left-leaning? No, not usually. Are their commentators? Yes, most of the time.
