Your saying two things at once, I call a Mexican person who has become a citizen an American, just as you would call a Korean person who become a german citizen; a German.

Now when an Asian person doesn't assimilate into culture a lot of times its because they are allowed mostly by there surroundings, like a "chinatown". I personally feel they should take on some to mostly all customs of America but still have there own. However people are going do whatever; society is going to make "borders" disappear in terms of preservation of old time traditions.

Hell people in Illinois would not have awesome Mexican food if Mexicans didn't bring it to them, do you want them not bring there own style, culture, and way of life to another culture.

The flag issue, is just an issue of respect and understanding.

Your argument would probably be considered a little more racist if you plugged in America for Germany, but based on your grammar your 15 and haven't grasp the concepts of higher thinking.

Yes, and no. Sorry I did not get my thoughts across as clearly as I wanted to, nor did I spend enough time on this as I should have.

What you are talking about is Nationalism and it has brought considerable hatred and destruction to the world. I would put it right up there with religion on the death scale.

The planet, people, society, culture, etc. are fluid things and are constantly changing. Things were very different a thousand years ago, and different a thousand years before that. Different cultures interact with each other and eventually meld into a new culture which is a synthesis of the various originals. Language is a perfect example of this. The English language of today is actually a mixture of latin, celtic, german and french. This is because all of the languages of those different cultures interacted with each other at various times and Modern English is the result of those cultural clashes.

So, my point is that the German culture will never completely die. People will come to Germany, and bring parts of their culture with them and the culture will change. It has always been that way and always will be that way. Don't worry about it too much.

Also, you should probably know that Germany is less than 100 years old. Prior to 1918, Germany was made up of many independent kingdoms which each had their own unique cultural traits. Hitler was the first person to speak of Germany as one nation with one culture.
