According to the article that YOU POSTED! and forgot to read it says only 9million Americans even file early so even though it could possibly maybe affect 50 MILLLLLLLLion only 9 million actually file early and that the delay is only for a month maybe. As for the article, this affects 50 million people that might be counting on getting a tax refund early to help pay bills. But since you are not from the US this has no effect on you. And most likely still live at home sucking your moms tit.
Its the beginning of Big Government (No mention of Obama in my post) not giving its people what is due. Tax refunds are your money over collected and given back after filing. They are not going to come right out and say we don't have your money, they are going to blame it on something else.
IF you followed news in the past this also happened in California. A state that is over budget, feeding the social parasites that live of its tit.
I clearly posted this because 50 million people is a lot and could effect many on this forum. But I guess most of the readers here don't work and still live in the basement. Its only the beginning as stated because this will not be the last time you will hear of an "IOU" or delay in refunds.
If a citizen of the United States is late on paying its tax liability to the Government, you are hit with penalty and interest, that snow balls into more than the actual tax debt, and compounds fastly. But if the government does that to its "subjects" a simple wait your turn is given. Im sure that number might be based off of last years numbers for people will now just be getting their W2's and 1099's. OR even file off their last paychecks of the year. As the down turn hits harder more people will be looking for their tax refund sooner to help ease the burden of their monthly expenses. The article also does not give a time line on when they will be cutting checks either. Could be next month or even later. You clearly would not tell the masses that it could be sometime in June would you? People would not stand for it.

There are 140 millions taxpayers in the US. According to this article approximately 50 million of them (36%) itemize their deductions. However as the article points out only 9 million of them will file between Jan.1 and Feb.28. So in reality, only 9x0.35=3.2 million people might be delayed in filing their returns.
That's a far cry from 50 million. If the Republicans hadn't insisted on giving a $220B tax break to the richest 2% of Americans, the Bush tax cuts would have been extended months ago instead of on Dec.17. So I can only assume that by "It's only the beginning" you mean it's "only the beginning of the Republicans trying to f**k up the gov't and blame it on the democrats"Comment
