        that was congress in the 70's that pulled all the money outta the SSI trust and put it in the general fund.

                That's irrelevant. What I said is still true, Social Security dollars were/are used to fund the war in Iraq.

                Which brings me to another question that still baffles me. Why do all you so-called conservatives continue to defend Bush when he spent trillions of tax payer dollars on 2 wars, medicare prescription drug benefits, bank bailouts, etc?
