This video makes Planned Parenthood look bad.





Other sources say the video was edited to make it look bad, but I can't see how context would make it any better, it just seems shady. I know the principals involved in making the video have less than stellar reputations, any thoughts?

Shit, I could make Jesus, the Virgin Mary, Mother Theresa and Gandhi look like the Anti-Christ if I edited the soundbites and visuals just right.

Sad fact is easy access to abortion for low-income, low intelligence people who are ill-equipped to care for and raise a child may be in the best interests of society at large. We have too many people in this country for the jobs available anyway...and since poor, stupid people are a drain on the system and don't pay enough taxes, fewer would be good, right? Certainly not a new thought!

Not convinced that Planned Parenthood is a bunch of hacks. I'm more interested in why most major news outlets are using the word "hoax" in this story. Example:

It looks like yellow journalism to me. Lots of key words like "scheme", "backfired", calling O'Keefe a "criminal", but no analysis of the video itself. I was under the impression that Planned Parenthood serves a need, I still feel that way, but am concerned, and am unclear on how this has backfired on Liveaction.

Any sources for a better or more in depth analysis?

Planned Parenthood, a perennial protest target because of its role in providing abortions, has notified the FBI that at least 12 of its health centers were visited recently by a man purporting to be a sex trafficker but who may instead be part of an attempted ruse to entrap clinic employees. A spokesman for Planned Parenthood said that, immediately after the visits, clinic employees told their managers and called local law enforcement. The statement says "appropriate action is being taken" into the woman's actions.
