2/3 of Wisconsin 8th graders can't read proficiently!

    I go to a wisconsin high school, and I don't know if this has anything to say about 8th grade, but we took a "PLAN" test, a pre ACT type test. I was in the 87 percentile for reading (this is a nationwide test). Just saying. (And I got a 97 percentile on science :) )

      What year should we pull up to prove a point? I put up 2006 and have 2007 looked at and it's a different story each year.
      I could also find records from private schools (which generally do better than public schools) to show that teachers unions "suck". But that doesn't tell anywhere near the whole story.
