^ if that's your answer, you have obviously never read anything he has written or heard any of his speaches. You seam to put as much effort in defending your ideologies as a religious fundementalist would in defending the contradictions of holy scripture.

Ummm again a commie is a commie, an unelected dictator that uses fear and psychical harm to suppress those that disagree with him or his regimes actions is still a dictator. You and your ilk seem to have been taught that the those on the far left, and were nothing more than thugs and mass murders are some kind of heroes and champions for human rights and equality and implementing some kind of hippie jam band drum circle wet dream. Its simply not true and tens of Millions of people were slaughtered to bring these regimes into and keep them in power, so many so that they make hitler look like an alter boy.

He talks a good game, and has some profound writings sure (sound like anyone else we know), but his actions speak far more about him and his true motivations in life. Remember the old saying "actions speak louder than words"??? This is one of those instances. I by no means am going to go into a long term paper like dissertation for you, you have enough info there to start your journey into enlightenment, and a few simple Google searches will have you more information than you can handle. DO your own home work if you wish, I am not going to do it all for you since you will just discount it based on who is delivering the message.

Are you seriously suggesting that all "commies" are supporters of the actions of Mao, Stalin, or Hitler and because the Dali Lama made a statement about agreeing a few Marxist philosophies, he is therefore a communist and supporter of Mao's mass killings? Hmmm. Then I should also assume you own a Glenn Beck chalkboard with pictures of world leaders all connecting to Hitler? Seriously man, the DL is as much a commie as Jesus or Gandhi were.

Well 1 hitler was not a commie but a fascist.

            A FEW?????????????

Did you not read the very short and Only Lama quote in my post where he studied the revolution, and Marxist principals, and took a liking to them, as he tried to start a communist part in Tibet, and was all buddy buddy with Mao!! AHHH DUHHHH Seems to me if the shoe fits??? Also most modern people that advocate these ideologies have not 1 clue about the purges and what it really takes to make it all happen in terms of the cost in human lives.

Funny you mention Gandhi as well his vision of the world is a brand of communism, just not as implemented by the west and the Europeans. His vision was a classless society not unlike that envisioned in the Communist Manifesto but that the means for arriving there was through nonviolence rather than point of a sword.

Our socialism or communism should, therefore, be based on nonviolence and on harmonious co-operation of labour and capital, landlord and tenant." - Gandhi 1934 to the English Daily.

"Antagonism between the classes will be removed. I do not envisage a dead and artificial level among the people. There will be a variety among them as there is among the leaves of a tree. There will certainly be no have-nots, no unemployment, and no disparity between classes and masses such as we see to-day. I have no doubt whatsoever that if non-violence in its full measure becomes the policy of the State, we shall reach essential equality without strife." Ghandi 1940 "My view of the trusteeship"

Sounds very commie like to me, that is the antithesis of capitalism.

You will never understand I suppose.

^oh I understand. It just still surprises me that some people would disagree with the peaceful messages of Gandhi and the Dali Lama because it contradicts their political and or religious ideologies. But hey people still blow themselves up over their beliefs. I guess I won't ever understand that.

again the actions of the lama are not peaceful they are the acts of tyrant and dictator. These actions are much more telling than anything he has ever said or written

So you say you understand yet you still advocate for these views and agree with them??? Ummmm yeah ok

Good luck, some of these progressive types think Hugo Chavez is a saint.

Generally humans have proven to be very bad judges of "evil". They don't see it till it's either too late or somehow it directly effects their life in a very negative way.

First they came for the communists,
                  and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
                  and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
                  and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

                  Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Even though this quote is specific to the rise of Nazi Germany, it generally applies very well the the problem with "group think". Progressives are notoriously worse about group think than most other groups I've seen. And that's why they are more united than most other groups I've seen. Their conviction is fueled by their blindness to see this evil.
We're heading for medieval times again, in that we will all be owned again. It's already bad enough as it is today. Freedom is a word now reserved for novels.
