How long do you expect the ogallala aquifer to last? Current estimates put it at 20 years. USA will no longer be the farming capital of the world when that happens (that aquifer is part of out dominance)
Keep your head buried in the sand and I'll continue to ignore your advice and with little to no research enjoy my better returns on the market.
Keep it up!

Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to great danger
-Hermann Goring
I see this quote almost everyday because it's just as true then as it is now. It shows the mind set of the people who lead and it exposes the weakness of majority mentality. The parallels are uncanny, and they should be... Goring did find his inspiration from Americans.

Please explain global climate trends across tectonic, orbital, millennial, and historical timescales. Then explain how removing carbon from geologic materials and putting it into the atmosphere at rates faster than any natural process somehow has no effect on the absorption of infrared radiation.
Also, "global warming" is a phrase used by the media, not by scientists.
“In the end, more than freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all – security, comfort, and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again.”
-Edward Gibbon

–John Hardwick
"Why doesn't everybody just leave everybody else the hell alone?"

"A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine."
"What's *just* has been debated for centuries but let me offer you my definition of social justice: I keep what I earn and you keep what you earn. Do you disagree? Well then tell me how much of what I earn *belongs* to you – and why?"
–Walter Williams
"One of the chief symptoms of every revolution is the sharp and sudden increase in the number of ordinary people who take an active, independent and forceful interest in politics."
-Nikolai Lenin
We are not retreating - we are advancing in another direction.

who am I hiding behind? your senility is showing again
you never post an original thought, its always a response to what others have said, mostly when there has been a disagreement with my posts. you hind behind their posts and criticize.
here's a challenge. instead of witty snide remarks, try thinking and posting something that actually adds to the conversation. you know, like you would have learned at WWU, critical thinking.
i promise no to hold your obvious youth and ignorance against you. :)

Lets not bring age into this, because if anything yours is detrimental to your understandings yet hugely contributing to your arrogance and stubbornness.

you demand of me what you yourself do not provide to this forum. you contribute nothing to r3v, other than to occasionally troll the politics forum and i'm not afraid to call you out on it.
btw that's really creepy that you bothered to look up or remember where i went to college.
