1st those are not Military grade hardware they are all semi auto not fun switch full auto select fire weapons they are just off the shelf sporting rifles you and I can buy. The 50, if you have the cash yeah is basically a military issue but is not a machine gun.

Many a deer rifle with a scope on it has been used by US snipers in Vietnam, that were bought straight outta sporting good stores and put into service. I have lots of rifles with scopes on them, does that make them sniper rifles???? What makes a "sniper rifle" is the man and his skills and intentions behind the glass, not the weapon itself.

Longest confirmed sniper kill is a Canadian guy in A-stan with a 50bmg at 2707yards or 8121 feet, or 1.53 miles and it took him 4 or 5 shots to get it. Ummm thats well short of 2 miles

bolt gun on a AI chassis, and surgeon 1581xl repeater action, and a can at some point, This much I know. Slowly is the key here, looking at buying a home here soon too, I have to kinda cut back on the $$$$$ gun parts for a while.

LOL no you can get a complete rifle from AI in 338 for about 7k the Stock is about 800 or so retail and can be found in the mid 500's from time to time over in the "hide"

the action is bit on the high side lol and so will be the glass that will sit on it. Its a long term project as I had to give up my car hobby thanks to my job. So am I am going back to guns lol.
