Ron Paul has some good ideas....then you let the guy keep talking....and you start to wonder what planet he was born on. Some of what he wants to do is nuts.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Couldn't be any worse then what the rest of the lunatics propose on a daily basis. At least hes not a puppeteer who just spats out campaign slogans every time the media and a mic is in front of him. Maybe that's what this country needs, someone who isn't from this planet running it. ;)

The Daily Show gave him some credit for coming in a close second to Bachmann while pointing out how the media intentionally tried to avoid talking about him. I think the media has a lot to do with choosing who they want the country to vote for, rather than reflecting what Americans are feeling.

Is Jon a comedian or part of the media?

Definitely a comedian, pointing out the absurdity of the media and politicians in general, but the show definitely has its bias. They definitely showed favoritism for Obama over Hillary in the primaries. I think each news outlet has their own favorites they cover.
It's sad that our news is such a joke that it spawns the demand for a Daily Show or Colbert Report.

                Don't forget that.

They're the bottom of the bottom imo. They have no product anyone else can scrutinize. But yet that's all they do with other people's work. Even if it was about liberals, I'd feel the same way. I can't watch anyone that's that smug.

^They're the top of the top in my opinion. Historically, satire has always been a useful approach in pointing out flaws in any political systems. They are modern day Mark Twains. Wit is a form of intelligence not easily debated unless you possess it yourself. That is why you dislike them.

Hate to break it to you but wit and smug are not one in the same. Jon is smug not so much witty.

You can definitely stop drinking the haterade for this one.

Speaking of haterade, it looks like there is beef between Rick Perry and "Bush & Company".

In 1998, they campaigned as a team -- but today the former president's allies aren't too fond of the GOP's newest 2012 candidate

Part of me thinks this almost might be good for him though if it helps to distance him from the former president.
