    It's Bush's fault.

Wait a minute....that's the O's line. Can't imagine why GM thinks they can get away with it!

Along those lines, here's some new Volt info. I'll put it here instead of the other thread.

    And, it's from msnbc!

Of the Impalas in our fleet this issue is just one of many we're having with the cars. Stupid shit like windshield wiper linkage, coolant leaks from the heads and water pump, instrument panel issues, significant oil leaks from front and rear main seals, transmission failure..

GM will legally get away with it but customers don't like getting the shaft when shit goes wrong. I'm curious how this will play out over the next couple years with general GM sales.

does anyone remember Obama saying that the US government would back these warranties?

"Let me say this as plainly as I can: If you buy a car from Chrysler or General Motors, you will be able to get your car serviced and repaired just like always," Obama said. "Your warranty will be safe. In fact, it will be safer than it has ever been. Because starting today, the United States will stand behind your warranty."

Who didn't see this coming? You think that maybe it's one of the reasons that they went bankrupt to begin with? That way of thinking I mean.

The cars in question were from the 2007 and 2008 model years. The government will cover any car sold after March of 2009, when the speech was given.
