It's so funny how in every debate every politician skews the facts and figures in their favor. It's hard to believe anything these guys have to say. I'm also disappointed that not one of these guys have come up with any reasonable, detailed solutions to any of the problems they site. Politics as usual i guess.

Why is that?
I don't like the debate formats in general. They ask complicated questions and expect them to be answered in only a minute or two. So everyone is forced to spout out talking points and rhetoric without going into any detail. It's unfair to the debaters and the audience. Then of course the media can only cover the superficial answers anyway so no substantive information gets through to the audience.sigpicComment

Yeah I completely agree with this. I hate how they are set up.

Rick Perry pulled Ron Paul to the side off air and threatened him.
Fuck all the candidates, Ron Paul's the only one spitting some real shit up there.
"Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed."

I think Ron Paul is the only one with a passionate base, even though it may be too small to win. I haven't seen a passionate following behind the other candidates like Obama had in the primaries. I think Fox is trying to create a stir around Perry, even though the more he talks, I don't think he's got a chance.sigpicComment

As for tonight watching, big talking points so far. Unfortunately this is also just talking points. Most people will never look at the meat and potatoes of the bill to see if it actually lives up to the hype.
Edit: Yeah, negating the conditions on the benefits for small businesses, like the restrictions that they will get benefits if they hire but only if they retain...Im now E30less.

You know, if there was a moderate candidate who propsed cutting aid to israel, i'd probably vote for him.
