I absolutely think that it would have been preferable to capture him alive but I doubt he would have gone down without a fight. Personally, I am glad that we have recently taken out so many high profile Al Qaeda members. With Osama dead and the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 recently passed, it's about time we moved on and put the wars and such behind us. We have other shit to worry about right now. The economy maybe?

I think the issue people are taking up with this is at what lengths is our government willing to go to protect our freedom. What if the government starts going after US citizens here in our country? No due process, no trial, just BANG!
In this case, i support the decision to go after this nut job but it is a fine line we are treading.Comment

Ummmm yeah what do you think the patriot act is all about, the warrant-less GPS tracking of you car unless you secure in a fenced and locked yard or closed garage. The fact that if you are "accused of terrorism" You can be stripped of your Miranda, stripped of your Constitutional rights, and held indefinitely with out charges in the US and as a US citizen. Onstar (govt company) saying they were going to continue to track your equipped car after your contract was up and you had to OP OUT not in.
