I think its a really good point though, it gets these young children indoctrinated to the system early. Then become dependable on the system they grew up on.

Yeah I feel bad for the children that cant afford to eat. But in all reality its their parents responsibility not the gov. to feed their children.

For this country to get back on track, entitlements must go!

One hyperbolic example is not helpful or constructive. The fact remains that 20% of the nation's youth is impoverished at no fault of their own. I don't see how one can assert that death is a viable option. To address the latter part of your comment, I've volunteered with and memtored homeless teenagers every week for the past three years. When your parents beat the shit out of you and kick you out of their house at 14, I think social services are warranted.

Perhaps you should move to Somolia; it sounds like just the "free" atmosphere you're looking for.
