Well the Aboriginal's have once again made everyone question their rights in this country.

Personally I have had enough of them, most of you guys probably see nice things about them on your TV but it could not be farther from the truth. The have free health care, money from the government, free government housing and what ever the other benefits are. Yet they still commit crimes and blame everyone for there shitty lives.

IDK I am just sick of paying tax that gose to people who do not deserve once cent of my money. It seems that every time the government gives in and gives them something they want, they come back demanding something else.

My solution would be to cut their benefits, make them work like everyone else.

I had a family friend living in Alice Springs drug out of her home and beaten half to death by them. I have no sympathy for them. My dad travels to Alice Springs once a year for work and it sucks how that town has deteriorated because of how they sit on their asses and drink all day.

Hasn't the "land of oz" done some fucked up things to their native inhabitants? Similar to Canada's boarding schools. Similar to the US and all of that business, maybe not as extreme though.


The problem is more to do with fucked up people bringing up more fucked up people. Part of the problem is being handed money, but it's only part of the picture here.

They're responsible for their actions, but especially in Canada it's hard to deny they've gotten the shitty end of the stick. I've know an individual who as a child was given water with fireplace ashes in it so that he would be violently ill to the extent that he was kept at the hospital over the weekend so his parents were able to go out and drink and not have to worry about the child. Being raised like that in a community that doesn't condemn such actions makes him a unique case that he's made something of himself.

Yes but that is beyond most Australians lives these days and is history. There has to be a point in which we stop saying sorry and get on with our lives.

The last real wrong doing was the "Stolen Generation" in which children were taken from there perents and put in white foster care housing, to hopefully bring them up in way that was suitable for society. Any aboriginal, born after this period in history should not have any benifits from the government, they have not suffered at all and are just getting a free ride.
