    TSA Facts

It's clear that the TSA does not function efficiently. Why keep supporting it? Thanks for sharing the facts of TSA here at http://www.r3vlimited.com

I took that as they could screen 65% more people for X amount of money as compared to what the Feds would get done spending an equal amount.

Details on private security providing the screening? Where do they get the numbers? How do you screen 65% more passengers? That implies that a large portion of travelers aren't screened at all.

We should indeed implement profiling here in this country

we are too PC for that.
they use that because it works and suits the goals of keeping air travel as safe as it can be. Not to create an illusion that its indeed safe and add yet another useless layer govt bureaucracy and intrusion to to help further condition the masses to such intrusions as commonplace. Not to mention the the fact its a govt jobs program.

I was referring to the latter portion of your comment in which you implied we should implement profiling here.

The most hated country on Earth, Israel, doesn't have these redonkulous hoops to jump through at the airport. And their planes haven't blown up in decades.

Last time I went through an airport was when I flew out to LA to get my E30. They let me bring my entire set of tools including my foot and half stainless 28mm wrench and all the smaller ones, a breaker bar, etc etc etc AS CARRY-ON.

I originally asked at the check-in kind of jokingly if I could bring it all as carry-on to save some money. They said absolutely. I then questioned them explaining all the shit I had and how dangerous it could be. They said it'd be fine, got through no questions asked....

Sad that we can spend all that money on nothing while our educational system goes to shit.

    :D

proud to say i was a security breach this past week. I was running late, sprinted to my gate, i get to the security lady who is supposed to check your boarding pass and ID....She checked my boarding pass and never even asked for my ID. I could have been absolutely anybody. But wait, whats this you ask?! That dumb 3oz of liquid deal...I had an 8oz bottle of hair gel, and a 6.x oz gel deodorant. My bag didnt get opened, I wasnt questioned. Nothing.

    Cliff notes:

I could have been any 'terrorist' with a potentially lethal liquid in my carry on. Go TSA!
