Thats Awesome... I guess I just found a brother in Christ lol. How do you interact with other fellow enthusiast that know about your spiritual beliefs?
Im having trouble opening up to the guys I hang out with because of dynamics of the group.

Be yourself and things should come naturally. If you try to impose on others it will only push them away. Regardless of faith you are a human being first and foremost, just the same as they are.

Why even bring this stuff up? I can't say I've ever been to a car meet and then started talking about my religious views. If friends want to stay friends never bring up politics or religion.

I was raised Catholic, I decided the hypocrisy was not for me, walked out from that whole bag of man-made lies used for control. I spent a few years just knowing within myself there was a higher power, and after about a decade of that, I found a organized Christian church that was based on Faith, and not living by some imposable rulebook, and haven't been as happy, nor as grounded as I am now.

This sounds legit, I might search for something like this nearer to me. Around here it seems you're either an atheist (the cool thing to do nowadays), or you're a bible freak that knows 4 pieces of scripture in which they live their lives by. Both groups contain some of the most ignorant pieces of trash I've ever met.

When I hear born again, I think to myself, WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY DO SO BAD THEY FOUND GOD? Along with, is it going to be shoved down my throat?

Believing in something is fine, I respect that. Its when its outwardly pushed is when I have a problem.

For example, my gf was raise republican and catholic, both of which I can relate to, but we vary on opinion of matters. Neither of us, FORCE our views on each other.

I say this as I prepare an Easter Basket for my daughter although I don't believe in Christianity, I do believe in spoiling her and giving her the occasion to feel and believe in magic/make believe like I DID.

Be who you are, but if you want to include others in or let others in the know of your religious views be prepared to have a bad reception because the vast majority are not going to give a fuck and you're going to weird em out.

I'm not certain that I've ever met a "Born Again." Amongst 90% of the population, I don't think religious beliefs are a common topic of casual discussion.
I was raised Catholic, but never really believed in it all. It was more of a way to appease my parents and avoid a dead-end discussion.
I'd venture a guess that most of my friends are religious. I don't have a problem with it at all.
As long as it's not used used as the basis for legislation or used as the basis of pseudo-science to be taught in public schools, I see absolutely no reason to look down upon it or condemn it. Let people believe whatever they want.

As a whole, I think the Bible has some good morals in it. Yes, you can pick out some crazy passages, but the majority of it is all about being a good person.

A good friend of mine is a Christian and brought something up that I thought was interesting:
If Jesus really did exist and explicitly claimed to be the son of God, he either was the son of God, or he was delusional. There really isn't a grey area.

Can't really ask my opinion on religion. I was born Southern Baptist, converted to Buddhism, and the wife is Hindu

That's pretty chill dude, very diverse pallet of religions
