It's based on contorting terminology. Twisting the meaning of a term that describes one thing to describe other things that without the twisting would not be known by the spoken of term.

Like me and the use of lesbian. Just because I like chicks, using that term doesn't really work to describe my position, just like because homosexuals want to use the term marriage, even though it doesn't accurately describe the position they are coming from.
Your logic is inane. If two men walked up to you and told you they were married to each other you surely wouldn't be confused. Conversely, if you walked up to a stranger and told them you were a lesbian they would look at you, justifiably, like you're retarded.

You can call yourself a lesbian all you want, I don't care. I don't think anyone would give a crap.

But what I do care about is you being so self-centered that your mental conflict about the meaning of a word you gathered from societal influences which were largely based on close-minded religious extremists so that you want to restrict other people's liberties so you feel more comfortable about the world.

There's been plenty of bigots before you who were uncomfortable of the idea of people marrying across racial barriers and found against it because "it was wrong", only to have most of society realize it's fine.

Seriously, arguing against someone's pursuit of happiness because of semantics is childish and selfish, not to mention completely asinine. I hope this is just another trolling thread and you don't actually mean it, or I've lost all respect for you after starting your own business. No adult should be capable of actually putting their interpretation of vocabulary before someone else's civil rights. That's absolutely ridiculous.

Yup. But that's who adopts propaganda. They choose not to think for themselves, or much at all.

Gee, I thought marriage was a legal contract between two adults who care for each other and want to be together for life.

Has marriage fundamentally changed in Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, or Sweden? Or is it still the same concept, but now everyone can participate. Did the act or definition of voting change when previously disallowed people were given the opportunity to do so? The answer is no.

So you formed your opinions on marriage when you opened a dictionary? Again, please demonstrate that there is a causal link between gay marriage and the devaluation or marriage. Outside of allowing two men that love each other to marry there is no effect on the institution. If anything it strengthens it.

Yeah, why would I ever think that someone who posts a lot about immigration as a negative and then talking about a growing Spanish population as a negative connotation... And I wasn't aware that complaining about minorities was okay on a region-by-region basis...

Actually, I'm not (arguing to argue) and think you two are absolutely ridiculous and are forgetting the principles American was founded upon, because of your personal beliefs or opinions. The nation was not started to oppress people with the majority's religion, but rather one of the reasons people were here was to escape religious oppression. Why then do RWNJ seek to take steps backwards?
