that entire "article" is based on a rumor. lol
I don’t have the minutes of the meeting (yet), but sources tell me California Senator and longtime gun-hater Dianne Feinstein’s legal staff held meetings on Friday with FTB/ATF legal staff to discuss a new “Assault Weapons Ban” Madame Feinstein would be looking to push through Congress if President Obama wins reelection.Leave a comment:

And it's funny because Obama has actually signed legislation expanding gun carry laws.
I think this whole discussion says way more about the modern republican party than anyone on the left. They've got you guys so scared, so paranoid, that hours after Obama won the election ammo prices jumped, everyone is freaking out about their guns, stockpiling and hiding in a bunker somewhere. The only people seriously talking about taking away guns are on the right. They've got the gun owners paranoid and afraid, right where they'd like them. It's almost like the republicans have investments in weapons manufacturers..
It's Neo-Conservatism that has people paranoid. People like to be afraid and feel threatened, it tends to unite them against a common enemy whether real or imagined, and politicians have used this to their advantage throughout history. One of my favorite documentaries, "The Power of Nightmares" does a great job of exploring Neo-Conservative ideology, radical Islam, and their roots. I can't recommend it enough.

Don't feed the troll.Brother, you keep acting like you know me in the slightest bit. Two miles isn't shit. Try walking 22 miles round trip in 115° Tucson weather every other day to help pay for food for your sick friend. How many nights have you had to sleep in the streets? How many guns have you had in your face? How many times have you lost everything you own? My life now is a cakewalk compared to what I've been through, and the life I've been through is a cakewalk compared to what people in this world go through every day.
I truly hope you have a wonderful life Josh, and I hope you never have to depend on the government for help.
Cheers
He's the first to whine when anybody "judges" him but clearly has no problem over-analyzing and assuming a ton of details about your life based on one or two internet posts.Leave a comment:

You may think you have it tough. But based on the couple of posts you have here, you have no fucking idea what tough times are. Keep warm and comfy in your parents place while getting help from the government and driving a very nice car compared to what many people have for transportation. You even have a $1k project car sitting there you could potentially sell. Let me know when you're eating pancakes for dinner and putting three pieces of Budding cold slices on your sandwiches for lunch. While walking two miles each way to work because you can't afford the bus tickets. Try that kind of shit on for size and tell me how it feels.
I truly hope you have a wonderful life Josh, and I hope you never have to depend on the government for help.

Yes. As I remind people on a near daily basis, the President makes NO law. Even Executive Orders cannot run afoul of established law.
I've already dispatched letters to Boehner and McConnell reminding them that their avowed mission to make Obama a one-term President at all costs has failed, and that it's time to go to work for the rest of us.
Maybe get that 10% approval rating up a few points?

The best part of the conspiracies surrounding this subject is that they all rely on super secrecy--except the UN reveals its "real" hand in a sudden, dramatic fashion one day after the election. :rofl:Do you REALLY think is it a giant conspiracy for one person to shove under a rug an effort to stop dictators slaughtering people for his best interests and it also being an underhanded strategy to prevent you from buying cool foreign guns and tracking you, even if the draft makes NO MENTION OF IT? No.Leave a comment:

billary isn't stupid. maybe she doesn't like guns or something, but she must realize that confiscation would send shit flying. that would be Waco, Texas on a national scale.

One of the more positive developments has been the realization among billionares that massive donations through secretive super pacs can't buy elections.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-1...-of-money.html
Rove, through his two political groups, American Crossroads and Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies, backed unsuccessful Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney with $127 million on more than 82,000 television spots, according to Kantar Media’s CMAG, an ad tracker based in New York. Ten of the 12 Senate candidates and four of the nine House candidates they supported also lost their races.
“Right now there is stunned disbelief that Republicans fared so poorly after all the money they invested,” said Brent Bozell, president of For America, an Alexandria-based nonprofit that advocates for Christian values in politics. “If I had 1/100th of Karl Rove’s money, I would have been more productive than he was.”
Donald Trump posted a message on Twitter saying: “Congrats to @KarlRove on blowing $400 million this cycle. Every race @CrossroadsGPS ran ads in, the Republicans lost. What a waste of money.”Leave a comment:
