In California possession of 1oz or less can is only punishable as an infraction, same as a parking ticket if the cop wants to be a dick. Its been like this for a couple of years now. Nice to see WA and CO follow in our foot steps.

That's without a prescription. The medicinal law in California is a joke. Got a headache? Get a prescription from any of the many quack doctors willing to write one in about 5 minutes. They even have automated dispensing machines in gas stations now.

It's like that in Oregon as well. WA and CO passed bills which completely Legalize recreational use for those over 21, no fine/no laws broken (until the feds intervene).

I agree, it's definitely a step in the right direction, but it's only a start. Hopefully more will follow suit.
