Which is exactly the same thing that would have happened before the law was passed. If you're driving in a way that you appear impaired, you will be pulled over.

The problem is that a drug test will stay positive for weeks after you've sobered up. You might be high for 4 hours, but you'll test positive for 4 weeks. So can you be busted for DUII if a drug test shows you've used marijuana in the past month? Or only if you're actually impaired, which can only be measured with a blood THC test?

The thing about that is, your not going to have to give a blood test every time you get pulled over. All these people are freaking out about the DUI enforcement but, it's nothing new. I've witnessed first hand my friend getting a DUI for being high and driving. If you get stoned in the evening and then wake up in the morning, drive somewhere and get pulled over I doubt you'll be getting a DUI. Paranoia is definitely setting in for some people. It's pretty simple people, don't drive high. It's just like going out and drinking too much, get a cab or walk.

I'm pretty stoked about this getting passed and I rarely smoke anymore.

Everybody has always been able to get a DUI if you smoke weed within a month of getting pulled over that's just the way it is but they still do field sobriety tests for people so if you obviously good enough to pass them they have no reason to blood test anybody, I wanna know how employee drug screens will work now

This is awesome, I can't wait for marijuana to be legalized in MD. People don't seem to realize how harmless this herb really is and how beneficial it can be for our economy and in some cases, our health.
