I didn't care for the headlines about this so called "scandal" but I can see what Farbin is saying. This is blasted all over the news as a national security risk because he is the head of the CIA.

I mean investigations don't just happen in such a short time span, they must've had all this information gathered over months and months of research into the matter. And with such a high profile figure such as Petraeous it seems like it was a good time to finally go forward with what they had on him to shift focus in the media.
