With a freedom of information request it is, not sure how many criminals are placing freedom of information act requests to find targets to victimize.

Now its been placed easy and interactively mapped format for anyone and everyone.

As far as 'targets to victimize' that might be a little far.... since you might want to avoid the houses that you know have gun permits. I bet all the neighbors are scrambling to get permits now too haha

It does bring up a interesting point about public/private information~ sex offenders, dwi/dui, felons, even just property ownership... where does public and private start and stop and why.

I am all for guns but think they need to be regulated a little better- I can show up to the police station and walk out with 5 pistol permits today and have a gun in my hand tomorrow. Which is totally cool because I am not crazy at all and have no criminal record. However it does nothing to keep guns out of hands of criminals and crazies. That map is unfortunantly mostly law-abiding citizens and does nothing to 'solve' or 'help' the 'problem' of crazy.
