    our commander in chief

he draws a red line on chemical weapons, then runs for the hills, accepts no responibility, says it was the world that drew the line and it would be the fault of republicans in congress if a resoultion to use force fails.

he fucks things up so badly the russians look like the good guys now.

he is not now, and never has been, ready for prime time. it is amateur hour.

and where the F was he for the 8 hours after being briefed on the attack on our consulate in Benghazi? where did he go? nobody knows.

    our commander in chief

it must really be hard being in the armed services and respecting this man

I wonder if Syria would have ever agreed to give up its chemical weapons without the threat of a US strike.

Assad is in an unfortunate position here I think. He has the right intentions and the right leadership for his country, but he is caught in a struggle to support a nation of people, while trying to maintain ties with a corrupt and rogue military regime. The Syrian people deserve an intervention by the Americans I think that does not include a military strike on the Syrian army but perhaps some intervention along side the army to guide them through how to better resolve the conflict with the rebels. Perhaps lend some intelligence and such

You either agree to the terms John Kerry dictated to the Russians or you have about 1000 tomahawks parked off the coast.

                      Choose wisely, son.

Damn, that's 1/3 of our total tomahawk inventory and 4x the amount fired during the 1st Gulf War. Syria better be careful

Syria won't give up ots weapons. They have already moved them next to schools and hospitals. We were never going to come out well in this situation. Thank you mother russia for giving us an out, even if it is not in our own best interest. Russia meanwhile spends the time buildimg syrias missle defense systems for when uh oh...... I kid I kid about giving up our weapons.

All while China sits back grows stronger while its competitors fight each other and become weaker fiscally and less influential.

let the russians and syrians dog-and-pony the u.s. leadership as long as they want. the only important thing is that no u.s. military action happens.

yes all that latest gen state of the art russian tech sitting there with arguably the most dangerous anti ship weapons in anyone's inventory not to mention poo-tin backing them all the way they are not too worried about tomahawks

Lots of jockeying around right now this, might not end well.

this is starting to seem more appropriate here
