Right. You meant to for us to drop a bomb in an uninhabited area to "prove a point"

Exactly what point would this prove? I guess there isn't sufficient documentation of the effects of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? The world is unfamiliar with the power of a nuclear device?

They are willing to do die for their beliefs, so how does threatening them with death provide the desired outcome or modify their behavior toward us?

        ^

The Japanese with their Bushido were willing to fight and die an honorable death to the last man, woman and child to defend the home Islands from the allies er well the US after poking the badger with a pointy stick........ They were arguably as a entire culture as fanatical about dieing for their emperor or in battle as any of the small fraction of crazy Muslims are now or ever have been.

Funny when faced with massive destruction form the sky that will destroy your entire country and culture in the blink of an eye how your addtuide changes, right quick and in a hurry. There is then a new found ability to play nice with others.

We did it many times in Nevada and New Mexico in our own country, why not have another test in someone else's desert this time.

maybe there are certain demographics that need some reminding what can happen when you fuck with a much more powerful entity, too many times via chicken shit and cowardly attacks.

kind, and tolerant are not words that go well with warfare, and this discussion.

Like I said I never advocated nor would I for mass genocide, but maybe we should get a point across of shape up or ship out. Which may get the all the peaceful and moderate follower's (you know the majority that dont speak out about this kinda shit) to clean up their own house so to speak and police their own radicals and keep them in line them selves.... Out of an interest of self preservation, you know thats a great motivator.

We were carpetbombing the shit out of Japan in the months leading up to their surrender, with conventional weapons, spreading more damage than Hiroshima & Nagasaki got across a much larger area.

I'm not at all convinced that the nuclear option is what actually changed their minds.

Internet in Syria is effectively shut off. Could be leading into something. Bashar just flipped that switch. Scary thing is how easy it could happen here too.

Testing is different than a demonstration to coerce or influence behavior.

Our governement is the only government who has actually used nuclear weapons on another country while at war--what demonstration do you think is needed?

Our government has been more than willing to unnecessarily kill millions and millions of people to achieve it's goals.

The ability to project force to scare people into behaving the way you want is laughable. You wouldn't accept the government using force against Americans to influence behavior.

Keep backpedaling on the genocide comments--its amusing that you're dumb enough to hold these opinions, dumb enough to share them and you double down on the retard to backpedal your way out of them.

Yes well a mushroom cloud in view of a large population center of a hostile country as a test would send a message would it not????

We dont have large segments of the population in this country plotting to destroy and or harm or maim the rest of the population here. You wish to attack us that is fine, expect to get killed back.

                      This is embarrassing.
Sleeve, did you really thoroughly think that much and this far (according to all your explanations) when you made your first initial comment?

What in the world is wrong with saying, "yeah that was pretty stupid sorry."

It's not my connotation sleeve, you're just too dumb to admit you don't know what the fuck you're talking about and too arrogant to admit it when you're wrong.

Why even bother debating with someone who apparently didn't graduate from highschool?
