So, what I find ironic is the claim that it's to protect the predatory bird population, while simultaneously, wind farms in California are filing for permits to annually kill migratory/predatory birds that are on the Endangered/Protected Species lists.

Fuck, I knew California was a stupid place.

Slammins was clever and based on historical fact, your arguments and this law are based on piss poor logic, and are a means to an end no more no less.

But farb are they building Wind mills where the 14 reaming CA condors live. I wonder how many Turkey buzzards or Raptors and Eagles or Falcons suffer a similar fate with getting a free scavenged meal. I dont see anyone championing for them.

So the point to take away from all this is the lawmakers in CA are willing to gut a multibillion dollar a year industry (HUNTING/Fishing) Licensees generate 3.6B for the state annually ALONE. All because a few birds that have been dieing off for a long while now died prematurely. Willing to let the populations of game animals get out of hand and cause more harm than currently, willing to have more game animals suffer and not be recovered as often and running around wounded from piss poor projectiles. GOT IT seems way more humane that way, chalk one up for the greenies and WWF tards, way to go.

Yes, but I baited all of you simpletons.

Furthermore, there's is no logic in this entire sub-forum. It's one giant cluster fuck of poorly written op-eds.

LOL, I sound the exact same way when talking about professional sports players and the fat junkie burnout "fans" that have no other life than playing Fantasy Football. The difference is a football fan will be able to provide you only with bean dip if the food distribution system were to collapse.

Cletus, we are two sides of the same coin.

Your backwoods conservatism reeks of the same moral superiority as my coastal progressivism.

The only difference is that I recognize that and don't take myself too seriously.

well my "conservatism" is not trying to encroach on your rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, as much as your coastal progressivism is trying to encroach on mine

I fail to see how my procurement and keeping of firearms and related items infringes on your rights in any way whatsoever. Or any of the other 100m law abiding firearm owners in this country for that matter.

They're all law abiding until they shoot-up a school or blow their wives heads off. Then the victim(s) are really fucking infringed upon.

I have a gun and I agree with you, but you can't argue that there should be a one size fits all second amendment-based policy for ownership.

Something to ponder. I wonder what restrictions you would propose for the second amendment? What about the first amendment and the fourth?

For instance: once free to roam society after a felony conviction, defending yourself with a gun is illegal. If society cannot trust a person with a firearm, why should we let them mingle with the "trustworthy" citizens like slammin?
