    we are not talking about the northern Burbs where all the white flight ran too... We are talking about the city proper that is detroit. Just because you saw a house hunters episode about people looking for a house in Birmingham does not give any idea what its like out side of that little enclave and why all the white people live there.

    Where am I claiming any white victim mentality at all in this thread, I think you have me mistaken with others. I am talking about detorit plain an simple..

    edit: I never lived in Birmingham though I have been there, I grew up about an hour to hour and half west.
