we are not talking about the northern Burbs where all the white flight ran too... We are talking about the city proper that is detroit. Just because you saw a house hunters episode about people looking for a house in Birmingham does not give any idea what its like out side of that little enclave and why all the white people live there.

Actually, for those of us who have more than an AA degree, he strikes at a lot of the civic issues that have contributed to the decline of inner cities for decades. Structural racism is very real and has a very real impact on communities.

Of course, if you want to point out his "sophistry" I'm all ears, er, eyes. I think we all are.
