Theory time. Hamas' rockets into Israel is mossads tool for the justification to what they're doing there now. All this talk about meat shields. You'd win global support, 100x times over, by taking pictures of Hamas fighters routinely doing this.

Some dudes in t shirts some how are without a doubt Hamas let alone represent Hamas and the Palestinian people as a whole? That these rockets that almost never make it to the ground in Israel justify thousands of civilian deaths at the hands of Israelis with the funding of our tax dollars?

It's with my conspiracy rambling earlier, that all of this can be so easily manipulated. Anything that comes out of that region, including anything done/said by hamas, is filtered by Israel/Israeli interests that who knows whats the real deal over there. Colbert had a great skit about what words are too "sensitive" to use around the world, including in the U.S., to keep the public image in Israel's favor as much as possible.

Does any of this one lopsidedness even sound fishy to any of you who are pro 'zionist'. I'm not down for any violence towards Israel but that doesn't justify anything that they're doing and there's definitely more to this picture than meets the eye. Has transformers taught us nothing?

My grandfather fought against the Germans in Poland during WWII and from what he's told me such tactics are straight out of the book. We can't deny that history can repeat itself.

Agreed that violence will never be the answer and for the most part i hope no one with a level head argues for otherwise but easier said than done I suppose. Religion can be the main difference between these people but its not the basis for the current conflict. Israel was created on top of other people's land! Like what we did to the native Americans but with the legitimacy within the global western community and world organizations alike.

Lol... Who's land was it before it was "other people's"?
Oh yeah, it was Israel's land. Also, the area was dense with Jews before the expiration of the British Mandate. It only made sense for them to declare their independence (just like the U.S. did) and set up their own country.

Read some history.

The crux of the Israel/Palestine conflict is this:
1. If Israel stopped military action in Palestine, Hamas would still shoot rockets into Israel.
2. If Hamas stopped shooting rockets into Israel, Israel would stop military action in Gaza.

Stated succinctly, in light of historical precedent, it's obvious who's fault the continuation of the conflict is. If Hamas ACTUALLY wanted to lead the Palestinians forward, they would stop shooting rockets and start building schools.

And their leader in Qatar while this fighting is going on? WTF? That's worse than the UAW.
