Mark my words, if Trump orders the indiscriminate murder of those he sees as breaking the law, I'm speaking up. But, if this guy is only working withing the parameters of his legal ability, I'm going to tell you he is not the enemy, he is holding up a magnifying glass to the past 50 years of the American Experiment so we all can see the corruption and twisted rules and laws we have allowed to pass by being complacent and voting in these stooges for generations.

Killing people because of who they are is never ok. But we have given our collective voice to the people in charge, and they have represented their communities and passed these laws that our president is trying to enforce. If "we" feel the law is unjust, then voting for those that will correct or defend the law is our task, not attacking the guy using the rulebook that was printed before he sat down in his desk to make his decisions.
This forum needs a thumbs up/appreciate button like most others. Well said.

sorry. i probably travel outside the the US as much or more than you out of Canada. For years.
And you're partially correct. the majority of Europe is quite safe. We recently are back from Paris and had no issues.
But your allegation the USA is the reason for the world fearing muslim immigration is nothing but trolling for a reaction Lee.
You are stating the issues in Sweden are nothing more than USA paranoia which could not be further from the truth.
        Will you believe the Swede's?

I knew it didn't, after gwb posted his link, I figured it was going to be called out for bias, so I wanted to point out the take on the OpEd from the media of the country in question.

                      That was December 2016.

Two months ago, in a panel discussion, (Sean Spicer) insisted that open access for the media is “what makes a democracy a democracy versus a dictatorship.”

Only when they suck up to the orange dude. Any divergent opinion is non grata... Others are left outside the room. When Breitbart is allowed but not the BBC or CNN, that says a lot. ;D

The irony is when Republican supporters and their orange leader call any divergente report as "fake news" while creating their own ones.

BTW No wonder it starts smelling like another Watergate. And we know what happened to Dick.

"Now, 44 years later, the man who experienced presidential scandal up close says he has a case of deja vu.

Dean said in an interview aired Friday that President Trump's first month in office — with its anti-media tirades and efforts to use intelligence agencies for political purposes — has “echoes of Watergate.”

So, if you say it your way it's ok, but if I take the liberty to flip it for you, would what you said still fly?

I can almost guarantee I have seen more of the world than you. The US is a high trust society. People don't have bars on their windows, people don't fear for their lives when they walk to the store. In my 30 years on this Earth, I have never been robbed or attacked while in the US. This is in contrary to most of the rest of the world which is poor and thus a low trust society. People are constantly trying to fuck everybody over in places like South America, Africa, Asia, etc. I was robbed at knife point in Brazil and then again in Chile. I've been pickpocketed another half a dozen times in various places. Europe is nice sure but it's laughable that you're trying to say that North Fucking Africa is safer than the US. Give me a break Lee you can do better than that.
