    Right, I read most of the article you posted and you can see it every time one of those big companies says they want to build another headquarters or whatever...massive tax incentives and infrastructure incentives, my hope is that there is a net positive for the area/state given the amount of subsidizing that goes on.

      And I suspect the reason that we don't really see much research around public funding of private enterprise, with the exception of stadiums and such, that there tends to not be the economic boon that gets sold to the public.
