if anyone wants a cheap cherokee, my rents have one for sale. $1500 i believe, black with grey cloth interior. 1999, 4.0, has oil leak from valve cover, and i think needs new rear struts.

I think they all leak oil from the valve cover......It coincides with the 2pc rear main seals leaking :p....another common problem that can be fixed in an afternoon.

A 3/4 drop would help it out alot. And still will not be really slammed.

This car has both those problems and a busted coolant line that was described to me as being "rigged".

You ever seen anyone with a dropped cherokee? Any experience with any setups? It seems pretty simple in theory since it has a very simple suspension.

Jeeps were meant for off-road use. They have a more rugged aesthetic appearance. Anything you do to go against that will make it look like shit. All your ideas so far look horrible.

"Rims" look like shit on Cherokees. If anything throw some Grand Cherokee Limited wheels, or some Rubicon Wheels on it and a decent set of street tires. I'd say for a budget build, just paint the stock wheels black and throw a bigger tire on them with stock suspension.

The 4.0 engine is bullet proof! However, the late model automatic transmissions fucking suck!

Here was my old XJ before I took off the running boards, put a bigger lift, and bigger tires on it. God I miss Bubba. :(

All the wheels so far have been stock, with the exception of the Ultras from the green one. If you look at the red 2000 you'll see they are just the stock wheels painted black.

Ford Ranger's are horrible little trucks IMO, but as long as you have fun here you go:

Yeah but all teh wheels have been scaled up. Stick with the freaking 15s you have on it. Regardless of what you think of Jeeps, anything Euro will look ridiculous.

I used to have a 94 cherokee, sold it for this

                            94 s10 4in suspension lift, v6 4.3 vortec, 5 speed, 4x4, 33in procomps.

Lifted trucks and jeeps are fun, but they almost always ride like shit. Not very fun daily drivers

Ive got a jeep and used to be really into it. (wrangler not cherokee) Ive always liked the really meaty tires with as little lift as you can get away with.
