need some logo help

i need help with my company logo. i just cant get the lettering nice enough, its not straight and looks curvy. this is what i have so far.

You should make an outlet socket your logo. One with a little smiley face or something.

No offense, but just start over... maybe pay a designer to make you one. That really doesn't look professional at all, would be tough to reproduce, and just general looks like a bad 80's design.

I have worked on logo's for myself and several other businesses. Actually the best thing to do is draw out what you want (this you have done) and then set some guideline for a true graphic artist to go on. By having a pro do it you will get the correct output methods for shirts, biz cards, websites, etc.

the logo is the company's logo and has been for years so i dont want to change it now.

at least its different than most electrical companys, all i ever see is lightning bolts

thanks luke. was a huge pain and im still dealing with the state board to "approve" me.

for the website i chose DependableElectricFL.com Should be easy enough since we are the only Dependable Electric in florida. Dependable Electric Company Inc. is the full business name, the logo thats above was something my dad had 18 years ago and he likes it.
