Although the neighbors handled the situation wrong, your friends obviously don't have any clue as to the history behind the Hat 'n' Boots. The time, money, and work that went into saving, moving, and restoring these structures was enormous. Seeing how the signs that are, or suppose to be posted saying "NO SKATEBOARDING", I have a hard time believing the Cop said skateboarding "ON TOP OF THE HAT" was OK.
