    Acceleration in my car

I did a quick video after putting my car back together. Its an m52b28 running m50 mani, m3 cams, s50b32 headers and better exhaust. It's not chipped yet so its not running perfect, but hopefully this saturday we'll take care of that as well. BTW I did a dyno before putting everything together and I will do another one when the car is 100% ready.

Sounds awesome, needles are jumpy but it seems like it runs well?

    I overall lime it.

Thank you guys. Needles are jumpy because of bumps on the road and car is losing traction. You can see it happen even at 160kph (100mph) :) Overall it runs great and it was definitely worth it, its a lot faster at higher rpms now that it was before. Only problem now is that with the stock chip I think that it's running really rich and when I release the gas you can hear explosions like on a wrc car from the exhaust.

here's the dyno sheet. I was running the exhaust that was on the 1.8 liter engine and it was way too small for the 2.8, that's why it only shows around 143hp. Usually those engines stock show around 150hp.

You should definitely get a tune for the cams. I wouldn't recommend driving the car too hard without it IMO....

              you're making 140HP with an M52?

              That's a joke.
Get another dyno. ETA's don't even make such little whp numbers.

You mean "i" motors don't. Please show me how many stock ETAs put down 140whp. Torque is a different story. :p

your dyno sucks. tune it and report back.

and for the video, i dont speak metric so it meant nothing to me.
BUT upside is it sounded nice.

You shouldn't be loosing traction at 100mph with 150hp even with the worlds worst tires. When did you last get an alignment?

dyno plots like that make my head hurt. Do you one with HP/TQ vs RPM?

Agreed, since when does a cammed m52 make 150whp?

Oh you guys....I said that I did a dyno before everything was put, so in that picture you see absolutely stock m52 with m42 exhaust. In the video the car has the mani and cams and exhaust but it's not tuned. It will be dynoed again when we're done tuning it and I expect something like 190whp or maybe a little more.
