                  Eh, my current set-up(2.5 inch to glass pack) sounds pretty nice, but full straight pipe only sounds good if driving super hard. Don't mean to threadjack though, love the sound of uncorked m20's.

                    Uncorked? Im still learning about e30's, I searched it up and it sounds amazing. What do i have to do to make mine sound like that?

                          I need a decently loud exhaust to drive well/ fast. Its a lot easier to be able to hear the engine than to look down at the tach when shifting/ r3v matching when downshifting. Plus, If it doesn't sound bad, a car can be however loud it wants haha.

                              Exactly, i noticed it is a lot better/smoother to drive with the straight pipes. The only bad thing is the drone in the car is ear ringing lol. But.. its WAY better than that ugly m3 muffler i had on there.
