Mother of God that thing is already stupid fast. This makes me want to pull the trigger on a 1J even more and say fuck the M50 and my savings account.

Glad you got the car bro. It seems like it is def going on the right direction. Honestly sold the car because I got sick of looking at it knowing it needed more money to get it where i'd enjoy driving it.

You had to spend more money and fix a few things here and there because it was simply a project car and obviously not finished. It has plenty of potential and I hope you enjoy it bro. Keep us all posted on dyno numbers and videos i'd like to stay in touch with you and see how far this car makes it.

Nice man, yea dont cheap out on parts. I honestly can see why he would get rid of it, especially in the shape it was in when I bought it. It needed a log of work, but good thing for me, I have all the knowledge and time to take care of it. It ended up in the right persons hand lol

Keep posting the vids . What was all wrong with the wiring. But the shop is actually pretty known around our area for doing custom work, but Joel had his hands in there alot on the fabbing this time around !
All of the clips on the wiring was broken. Like as if someone didnt know how to disconnect them, so they broke them. The body harness wiring is so bad that the turn signals, horn, etc didnt work. Fixed that. The wiring to the CPS needed to be fixed because it kept getting unplugged causing the car to die. A few other small wiring issues, but new things keep popping up every day.

Motor mounts are being reinforced. I dont trust the ones he had on there for much longer. Driveshaft has been rebuilt, balanced, and new csp installed. That made a huge difference. Weve tuned it well, much better than it was before. Before it couldnt go past 5200rpm without misfiring. Now it revs to 7500 smoothly and makes power the whole way.

He was also running BKR6E spark plugs which are much too hot, and he had a bunch of ebay parts. Those got to go. The RC550s injectors were probably the biggest headache of them all, but thats all been changed thank god!

So you ended up making new mounts? I tought that car had the Ksport mounts... Really nice car, that is what I wanted but right now the 2.7is will have to suffice until I get a new job!

But good to see one that actually seems a lot faster than many turboed m20's.. All youtube 2jz's where startup videos o silly donuts videos

This is his old car. But it's nothing like it anymore. I've had to changed out so many parts on this car, redo wiring, redo mounts, driveshaft, etc. car had NO tune on it, would barely boost, thing needed work. Got my hands on it, and now, well...you see what it can do.

And your brother didn't build it, a no name shop just threw this motor in without thinking first, and it shows. They really hacked it up, but that's ok, it's all getting completely redone by me. I hope your bro doesn't take his new car to that same mechanic!

These new id1000 injectors, and the tune, have made an impressive outcome.
